Our promises
Most money apps are trustworthy in their marketing and something else in their business model. These are the specific things this one will not do — written down so you can hold us to them.
We never sell or share your data for marketing.
Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to 'partners'. Our only revenue is subscriptions, so there's no second business model quietly pointing the other way. Running the app means using vendors — Plaid for bank connections, Neon for the database, Resend for email, Vercel for hosting, and Stripe for payments. That's the honest version: not 'nobody ever sees a byte', but 'nobody is ever sold one'.
Nobody will call you about your finances.
No advisor pitch, no 'free consultation', no lead generation, no selling your name to someone who does any of that. Free tools that exist to funnel you into a sales conversation are the norm in this category. This one isn't that.
Account deletion actually deletes.
One confirmation, effective immediately: your accounts, balances, history, goals, and login are removed, and we sever any bank connection at the source rather than leave it running. If the provider that carries that connection happens to be unreachable in that moment, your data still goes immediately — we keep nothing but the encrypted key that closes the connection, with nothing attached to it that could identify you, and we keep retrying until it closes, then delete that too. No 30-day 'recovery' window we could quietly mine, no retention offer, no support ticket. Export everything first if you want a copy — that's one click too. Cancelling a subscription works the same way: one click in the billing portal, no retention offer, no maze. You keep everything until the end of the period you already paid for; after that your linked banks disconnect and those accounts become manual, with every balance and all history intact.
No success fees, ever.
We don't take a cut of money you save, negotiate, or pay off. Nobody here profits more when your bill goes down — a common structure in this category that quietly takes 35-60% of the win.
Your price won't change without 12 months' written notice.
And never silently. If the product gets bigger and the price for new subscribers rises, that notice period is still yours. Promotional rates never spring back to full price at renewal without you being told first.
The free tier stays free, and keeps what it has.
Manual tracking, the net worth chart, the debt payoff planner, savings goals, and export are free and stay free. That list is the commitment, and it only ever grows. New paid features will arrive — that is what building the product looks like, and it takes nothing from you — but the direction is one-way: whatever is free when you arrive stays free for you, and nothing you already have moves behind the paywall afterwards. History beyond 12 months is hidden on the free tier, never deleted: it reappears in full if you subscribe.
No card to sign up, no card to try.
The free tier never asks for one, and no trial silently converts into a charge.
Manual entry is a first-class path, not a punishment.
Bank connections break — that's true of every app built on this infrastructure, including ours. Typing a number yourself takes about five seconds here and gets you the same charts, history, and planning as a connected account.
Email is opt-in and one click to stop.
The weekly check-in is off until you turn it on, only sends when something actually changed, and unsubscribes without making you sign in. No tracking pixels.
